Team Building

FAQs

What is a drum circle team building workshop?

A drum circle team building workshop uses group drumming, led by a board-certified music therapist, to build communication, trust, and collaboration within a team. No musical background is required — the drumming is the vehicle, not the goal.

Do participants need musical experience?

No musical experience is needed whatsoever. Workshops are designed to be accessible to everyone — from people who have never touched a drum to lifelong musicians. All instruments are provided. The only requirement is showing up.

Do you offer virtual workshops?

Yes — both in-person and virtual formats, so organizations outside the Mid-Atlantic can still book. Virtual sessions are built to be as interactive and engaging as the in-person workshops, not a watered-down version.

How long are sessions, and can they be customized?

Sessions range from half-day workshops to full-day seminars, with multi-session programs available for teams wanting ongoing development. Every session is tailored to your team's specific goals and challenges — nothing is off-the-shelf.

What is the process for setting up a workshop?

Contact Jason at rx4rhythm@gmail.com or book a meeting directly. We'll discuss your goals, design a program around them, then lock in a date and time.

What do we need to provide for an on-site session?

A space that comfortably fits your team, plus basic audio-visual equipment (speakers, a projector). Jason brings all instruments and additional materials required.

What should we expect during a session?

A blend of guided drumming, interactive exercises, and group discussion — built to be engaging and immediately applicable, not a lecture.

What are your rates?

Half-day sessions start at $5,000, depending on length and customization. Contact Jason for a detailed quote based on your team's size and goals.

What are the benefits for our team?

Teams report improved communication, stronger trust, more creative problem-solving, and reduced stress after a session. The drumming format breaks down hierarchy and social barriers faster than typical icebreakers, because everyone is doing something unfamiliar together.

How do we measure the impact?

Jason provides evaluation forms at the end of each session to gather participant feedback, plus optional follow-up consultations to discuss outcomes and plan further sessions if needed.
